  • Miriam Schoenfield

    PRESIDENT

    Miriam works at UT as a philosophy professor, and also directs the Texas Prison Education Initiative which offers free credit bearing college courses to incarcerated youth and adults. She is passionate about both cities and nature, and decided to get involved with Rethink35 after realizing how harmful urban highways are for both. As part of the political advocacy group, Miriam works with elected officials and their staff to support policies that promote safe, sustainable and effective mobility in Central Texas.

  • Meah Lin

    SECRETARY

    Meah has volunteered with Rethink35 since January 2024. As a leader of the Communication committee, Meah uses her experience as a designer and researcher to promote Rethink35’s mission.

  • SASHA SIVOLOB

    TREASURER

    Sasha grew up in Houston and saw the detrimental effects of the Katy Freeway expanding in that time. She sees the similar challenges Austin is facing and is happy to volunteer with an organization that is willing to fight for a better alternative that people deserve.

  • Adam Greenfield

    Adam Greenfield

    Adam is a transportation, streets, land use advocate and community organizer. He is Interim Executive Director at Safe Streets Austin and has led successful campaigns for protected bike lanes on Congress Avenue and Shoal Creek, the Living Streets program, and eliminating parking minimum requirements in Austin. Away from advocacy, Adam is a passionate bicycle traveler and enjoys woodworking, Stoic philosophy, and - like all good music-lovers - Prince.

    Joe Green

    Before joining the Rethink35 board Joe had a long history working and volunteering for progressive candidates in Austin and around the country. Growing up outside of Houston Joe has seen the consequences of adding more and more lanes to highways. He is passionate about shifting Austin's transportation future away from highways. 

  • Amy De Luna

    Amy De Luna

    Amy grew up in Austin and wants the city to be a safe place to get around. She's interested in reducing car dependency and alternatives to highway expansions. Amy is involved with the mobilization team at Rethink35 and assists with event planning.

  • Amanda Gallina

    Amanda joined Rethink in October 2025. She has over a decade of experience working in HR and Operations at nonprofits in a variety of sectors, including accessibility, science, and conservation. She is passionate about public transit and alternatives to driving, and is excited to join Rethink. She is involved with the Community Outreach and Mobilization teams.

  • Misael Ramos

    Misael Ramos is a community organizer who focuses on affordable housing, anti-displacement, transportation, and strengthening neighborhoods. Previously, as board President of the Blackland Community Development Corporation, Misael led affordable housing efforts that included the development of affordable units, program creation to support tenants, and strategic visioning for Blackland Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit in East Austin.

    He is a Business Analyst that partners with stakeholders to problem solve, collaborates cross-functionally to streamline processes at scale, and develops team members through skill based coaching.

    Misael was instrumental in helping his neighborhood, The Historic Rogers-Washington Holy Cross neighborhood, to become a Historically Designated District in an effort to preserve the neighborhood’s historical value for residents. He’s worked on highway reform efforts and has partnered with organizations throughout the city to work on Project Connect anti-displacement initiatives for the City of Austin. He’s pragmatic, operates with heart and integrity, and above all else, welcomes a diverse set of opinions and perspectives in his diplomatic approach to leadership.

  • Logan Ott

    Logan is a third-year civil engineering student passionate about city planning, transit, and citizen-led growth. He is President at Strong Towns Pflugerville. Since discovering urban design in 2022 through Not Just Bikes, he has been deeply engaged in studying cities and their transportation systems. He enjoys learning from urban models worldwide and applying those insights to local challenges. Through research, public engagement, and advocacy, he works to promote high-quality amenities, increased density, and the preservation of greenfields and farms. When he’s not working on urban issues, he enjoys staying active and working out.

  • Jon Sosebee

    Jonathan studied Urban and Regional Planning at Texas A&M University and has spent his career working as a urban planner and alongside local governments. His experience walking, biking, and using transit has shaped his belief that the ability to move without relying on a car is among the truest forms of freedom. He’s grateful to support Rethink35 and to help advocate for a more thoughtful approach to Austin’s growth.
